If you have come to this blog hopefully your purpose is to gain some insight into the life of a 26 year old Peace Corps volunteer working and living in Bulgaria. After graduating with a degree in social welfare, I decided to embark on a journey and am now working with Roma children and teenagers concentrating on youth development.

Johanna Hauck: Hello Everybody! If you're reading this blog chances are you have met me in one of my many locations; all over Wisconsin, Minnesota, Texas or Kyrgyzstan. This blog is intended to share my two year Peace Corps adventure working in Bulgaria (borders Greece, Turkey, Serbia, Romania and the Black Sea), as a Youth Development worker. While the job title is vague, my duties will include working with at-risk youth, disabled children or in a local NGO. While I am in Bulgaria I will learn the local language, customs, traditions and live like Bulgarians do. Thank you for taking the time to participate in my adventure. Do Skoro! (see you soon)
